First off, I want to say that I really have appreciated you and what you have done for the social networking scene on the internet. Really, you are a pioneer in that regard. However, I think it is time we went our separate ways. Please don't cry MySpace, you have so many other people to look after that will appreciate what you have to offer. ::offering MySpace a tissue::
We've had our good times; the funny comments, the messages back and forth and what not. But all in all; there is nothing you have to offer me right now. I really believe I have outgrown you as a site and really need something more tangible at this stage in my life. I'm past the glittery file layouts, the random song or video that plays without me wanting it too or stupid chicken heads with their MySpace photo's while driving (which makes me wonder how many wrecks you have indirectly caused) or in the bathroom.
Not to mention, the people that have found me via MySpace is not what I would consider to be a good thing. Trust me, some people were better left in the past and thanks to you MySpace; I found myself driving to Kansas with one of them. Not to mention hitting a deer on the a fore mentioned trip to Kansas. Let us not forget the porn-esque friend requests that tried to pass off as some girl that everyone knows is a porn star. Also, the mIsPELling oF foNT SIzEs 4 nO apPARenT reAson.
I know I've been hard on you and you deserve someone who'll appreciate your annoying layouts, stupid MySpace posed pictures (by the way I just googled MySpace pose and this picture came up) and the random person from Junior High that tried to talk to me that I'm wasn't that big of a fan of 13 years ago and sure as hell am not a fan of now. Granted you are Yuniesky Betancourt's favorite website, but it isn't enough to keep me. I've moved on to other sites. Please don't try to change my mind. Shhhh....just go.
Sincerely,
Marcus

Lol I was going to post a similar blog, and I think I still will. It is funny how something that was once such a HUGE part of the social life is just boring. I wonder if my work hadn't blocked it if I would feel the same.
And not all people that you meet again on myspace are bad. Pffft.
Genious! I laughed me ass off when I read this. I think you're going to miss glitter comments as well.
